MLB Opening Day is nearly here! After a tumultuous offseason, we can finally get back to baseball. Here’s how to stream the Houston Astros in 2022.
2022 Houston Astros Preview
The Astros won the American League for the second time in three years last season. An old face (Carlos Correa) is gone, but the Stros are still favored to win the AL West.
Obviously Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez are as good of hitters as any in baseball. Add in Michael Brantley, Kyle Tucker and Jose Altuve and it would appear that scoring runs won’t be a problem in Houston.
On the mound, Houston welcomes back Justin Verlander. Verlander isn’t slowing down despite approaching 40-years-old. That’s a huge addition considering Lance McCullers Jr. won’t be ready for some time.
In the bullpen, the Astros have plenty of heavy arms. Ryne Stanek, Hector Neris, Ryan Pressly, Pedro Baez and Rafael Montero all throw 95+ MPH. Pressly is coming off an All-Star season in which he saved 26 games.
