Eight bytes equals a bit, so here are eight interesting byte sized Houston Astros related numbers that equals a bit of information in the third edition of Astro Bytes:

.313 – Jake Meyers is batting .313 both at home (32 AB) and on the road (48 AB) over his first 80 MLB at bats.

5 – Cristian Javier appeared in only five games in August for a total of 8.1 innings, giving up seven hits, 3 runs (all earned) while striking out 10 and walking five.  Javier’s last appearance was August 25th in Kansas City.
