By Jason Burke

Astros spring training is underway, and Brian McTaggart has been tweeting out some great pictures this week. If you haven’t seen them and aren’t excited about baseball season yet, this should fill both of those voids.

The beard is still intact, which is obviously the source of Dallas Keuchel‘s power.

This trio could very well be the Astros starting outfield for much of the season, and could combine for close to 100 home runs!

Josh Fields is the dark horse candidate to be the guy that will close out games for Houston this season. He has the potential, but there are some savvy veterans that may block his path.

We’re all excited to see what Astros top pitching prospect Mark Appel will bring to the table in 2015. Last year was a tale of two halves. This season if he can be consistent, Appel could possibly get a call up to the big-leagues.
Brian McTaggart has been taking pictures like these every morning, so if you like what you see, give him a follow @brianmctaggart. He has also posted some videos on his Twitter account if that’s more your style.
Astros baseball is just around the corner!
