If the definition of frustration is when reality fails to meet expectations, Astros fans are likely highly frustrated. Significant frustration then leads to anger. Anger, as we know, is unhealthy and dangerous.

Therefore, in the best interests of the mental and physical health of Astros fans around the world, I present to you 10 songs to help with your anger and frustration. For as we all know, music soothes even the savage beast (so what if that line is a misquote).

1) Only - Anthrax

If only the Astros had done a better job addressing their pitching. If only the Astros had addressed the outfield. If only the Astros had gotten that extra reliever. If only there weren't so many injuries yet again. If only there was some real depth top backfill the injured players...

2) Angry Again - Megadeth

Because we aren't just angry as Astros fans, we are angry again. The frustration of 2025 was never truly washed away, only exacerbated by the greater frustration of 2026. We are angry again...

3) Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit

This is what happens when we are angry and frustrated. We want to break stuff. Doesn't matter whose stuff, just stuff. It needs to be broken. Breaking things is cathartic.

4) Bombtrack - Rage Against the Machine

Sometimes you just want to see it all burn down. Sometimes you envision setting it on fire and letting it all burn down, sometimes you envision watching the blaze in all its glory with glee. Burn baby burn!

5) Keep Away - Godsmack

Sometimes when my anger and rage boil over, the thing I want most is just for everyone to go the (censored) away. Don't bother me, don't talk to me, don't even (censored) look at me. When I am in hate mode, I hate everything. Just go the (censored) away. I imagine I am not the only one who feels this way.

Welcome to Intermission. This is similar to the part where you flip the record over to play the rest of the album. You remember records, right?

Now that you have had a chance to flip the record, we get to the next five songs for the angry Astros fan:

6) Don't Give Me Your Nothin' - Suicidal Tendencies

When you are angry, the thing you don't want is someone giving you their fake advice, their false concern, or really anything. Just shut the (censored) up and leave me alone.

7) I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace

Sometimes sports fandom is like a bad relationship. It can feel abusive. The good times and memories seem so long ago, and today it's just anger and frustration. Yet, we can never abandon our team, even when they make us hate them.

8) Aenema - Tool

The only left to do with this season now is to flush it all away...

9) In the End - Linkin Park

Eventually, we reach the point where the anger starts to fade and we become indifferent. Like it doesn't even matter...

10) Fade to Black - Metallica

We bring our angry playlist to a close the only proper way, with a Fade to Black.
