The Houston Astros‘ early stomping of the Chicago White Sox wasn’t enough, as they were sent back to their hotels after a 12-6 loss. Game 4 is set for Tuesday now due to rain postponing the Monday contest, as the White Sox will send Carlos Rodon to the mound, who has had recent concerns with a sore left shoulder.

Rodon had the Astros’ number in the regular season, as he totaled 14 innings over two starts. The left-hander only allowed one run on four hits and three walks during that span, while punching out 18 batters.

Since then, Rodon has been bitten by the injury bug with his left-shoulder soreness that could have possibly sat him out for the remainder of the season. The left-hander’s fastball velocity dropped close to four MPH in his final start on Sept. 29, which was likely in part to his injury.
