Which Houston Astros players had the biggest fantasy baseball impacts in Week Four?

We’re through four weeks of the season now, and fantasy owners are getting fully settled in with their teams. A few key Astros — namely Jose Altuve and George Springer — missed some time with minor injuries this week. That keeps the overall offensive numbers down for Astros players, but there were still some key fantasy contributors. Here are the best and worst of the week.

Best Hitter: Evan Gattis

With Springer, Jake Marisnick and Teoscar Hernandez all missing time this week, Gattis played in all six of the team’s games. He hit safely in all six, adding a homer and six RBIs. He’s hitting well above .300 to start the year and should continue to produce as long as he’s in the lineup.

Best Pitcher: Dallas Keuchel

Keuchel started two games this week, meaning he provided a boatload of fantasy points. He posted two wins and allowed three runs over 16.2 innings, including one complete game. His great run continues, making owners who drafted him look really smart.

Worst Hitter: Carlos Beltran

Beltran started just four of the team’s six games this week, though he did post a pinch-hit single in one of the games he didn’t start. Still, he struggled overall this week, going just 3-for-17. He turned 40 on April 24, and owners are probably wondering if Father Time is catching up to him.

Worst Pitcher: Lance McCullers

McCullers made one start this week, and it wasn’t pretty. He gave up five runs in five innings, suffering the loss on Wednesday against Cleveland. Through five starts, McCullers has been sterling in three home starts and was roughed up in two road starts. Luckily for fantasy owners, his next start is at home.

Next: Joe Musgrove deserved better

Player to Watch: Carlos Correa

Correa is finally starting to heat up. He hit safely in five of six games this week, including three multi-hit games. It’s been a slow start for a guy many expected to break out, but he may start living up to the billing now.
