As the baseball season comes to a close, each game the Astros play is an important one. After the Cubs left Houston this weekend, the remaining games for the Astros are all against AL West opponents. With the Rangers coming to town to start the week and then a trip to Seattle this weekend, the offense is going to have to be in top-notch form if the Astros want to be a Wild Card team.

One of the key pieces in that offense will have to be Alex Bregman. Already a top-notch defender, Bregman has gotten much better in the batter’s box. In his last 15 games, he has a .344 batting average with a 1.063 OPS. He has 22 hits, with four home runs, and has driven in 18.

This week, Bregman faces a Rangers team that he has hit very well against. In 28 at bats, he has a .393 average with a 1.092 OPS. Five of his 11 hits have gone for extra bases, and he has driven in six runners.

Many fantasy owners are in a similar situation to the Astros where they need as much help as they can get to win their league. This week offensively, Bregman will be a huge part of that.
