Along with Odor, Deshields can beat you in many ways.  They both have plenty of speed and power.  The next thorn in the Astros side may just rely on his power.  Joey Gallo is a monster home run hitter who is only this year making his debut.  He is comparable to Miguel Sano and Kris Bryant in terms of raw power potential.  When he gets a hold of one, they go a very long way.  his tape measure shots come often, and he’ll develop into one of the American League’s most feared hitters very quickly.  If you don’t know him yet, you soon will.  If you’re an Astros fan, brace yourself every time he comes to the plate.

All the ingredients are there.  An inner-state rivalry between two good young teams and villains galore.  Ultimately, a pennant chase is the great creator of rivals.  We’ll see how things end in 2015, but I think it is safe to say that the Silver Boot will be highly sought after from here on out.
