January is coming to a close, and with the Super Bowl on Sunday that can mean just one thing: baseball is in the air. With just a few weeks left until pitchers and catchers report to their respective facilities, each team still thinks that they have a shot. That all said, its been a slow few days for baseball with Deflategate taking all of the headlines of late.

So what would a site cover? Why try and create news when you can have a little bit of fun for a couple more weeks? Co-editor at Swingin’ A’s, Tony Frye, put together a story for A’s fans. But this isn’t just any story. It’s a choose your own adventure!

The other editor at HH, Mike Greyshock, poses a poll question as to who the fans think is the biggest acquisition this offseason. Nick Tropeano is one of the options, and he only has 14% of the votes. I say we flood that poll.

Shots have been fired over at Sodo Mojo. Staff writer Charlie Spencer-Davis asks if the Mariner’s trio of Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager are the best threesome in baseball. I think that George Springer, Chris Carter and Jose Altuve may have something to say about that.

In completely unrelated news to the article above, staff writer Mike McDonnell just asks, “Why haven’t the Mariners won a World Series Yet?”

Baseball is almost here! Time to start breaking in your glove again.
