It’s that time of the week again! Let’s get all caught up on the past seven days around the A.L. West. It has been a bit quiet around baseball over the past few days, but with the winter meetings about to start up, this could just be the calm before the storm.

Finally, our friends at Swingin’ A’s had a very special guest on their podcast on Friday. Eireann Dolan, Sean Doolittle‘s (A’s closer) girlfriend joined co-editor Tony Frye for a very humorous show. Eireann also gives a little glimpse behind the curtain on what it’s like to be a player, and the girlfriend of a player at this time of the season.

They also put together a nice piece on just how much the A’s need Ike Davis to perform in 2015.

That’s it for this week! With the winter meetings underway, we expect a lot to happen over the next few days. Each of these sites will continuously update any rumors or transactions that relate to their teams. If you can’t wait a week to find out what they think, give them a visit! Until then, we await the Astros making some headlines in free agency.
