Finally! An Astros affiliate has won a championship! The Tri-City ValleyCats were the first and (so far) only Astros affiliate to go home a champion. The ValleyCats made it close when the usually dependable, Gonzalo Sanudo, gave up a 2-run home run in the 9th, but he was able to finish it off and earn the save. The RiverBandits shutout South Bend and they are one win away from joining the ValleyCats as champions. Here are the notable stat lines from last night’s games.
