Marc Krauss sent down, Wade LeBlanc recalled

The Astros have sent outfielder Marc Krauss to AAA Oklahoma City and recalled LHP Wade LeBlanc. The move brings the roster back to the familiar total of 13 pitchers and 12 position players, meaning Bo Porter will once again be working with a short bench and an extra reliever.

LeBlanc appeared in 14 games in Oklahoma City, including seven starts. The 29-year old has been working on changing his arm angle to more of a sidearm delivery.

LeBlanc should be available out of the bullpen tonight in Arlington as the Astros open up a 3-game series against the Rangers. With scheduled starter Jordan Lyles appearing in relief last night, Lucas Harrell will get the start against Matt “don’t bunt on me or I’ll fly off the handle” Garza. Harrell has not had success against Texas this season and has a 1-4 record and a 5.87 ERA in 5 career games against the Rangers.

Here’s the rest of the Astros lineup for this evening’s contest.
