Norris scratched from start; trade imminent

The Astros have scratched Bud Norris from his scheduled start in Baltimore tonight. Three teams, including the Orioles are said to be interested in acquiring the Astros’ righty prior to tomorrow’s trade deadline.

If Norris is dealt to the Orioles, he could be pitching against his former teammates as early as tomorrow night. It has also been rumored that the Pittsburgh Pirates are close to pulling off a trade for Norris.

Lucas Harrell will get the start for the Astros tonight while Norris awaits the news regarding his future. Brian T. Smith tweeted that Norris is still in uniform hanging out in the Astros clubhouse and preparing to do an interview.

In other Astros news, Jose Altuve is back in the lineup tonight after leaving Saturdays game early with a strained left quad muscle.
