Recapping The Minors: August 29th

facebooktwitterreddit

It was a split 3-3 night with the ValleyCats dropping both of their games in todays doubleheader. The RedHawks won in walkoff style last night joining the Hooks and RiverBandits in the win column. Lancaster’s pitching staff was not able to keep the scoring limited to allow the top offense in minor league baseball to carry them to victory. Kyle Smith started the game but left after giving up seven runs in two innings due to an apparent injury (no update at this time). Here are the other notable stat lines from last night’s games.
