Astros MLB Players and Staff on Twitter

With Twitter becoming more and more popular every day, many of your Houston Astros are active on the Twittersphere. From GM Jeff Luhnow who is pretty active, to Jose Altuve who could be worked on a bit, to Orbit (Astros mascot), the Astros are well represented.

Almost half of the Houston Astros players can be found on twitter. Some are on twitter daily, some weekly, and some struggle to reach out to their fans even on a monthly basis. Of all the Astros players on twitter, Bud Norris seems to be the one who is the most active. He likes to make jokes with other teammates, fans, media, and other athletes in other sports. Besides Norris, GM Jeff Luhnow is active several times a week. He will tweet during games, and after games about the Astros, and it’s great seeing the brain trust of the organization interact with fans. Of course the media members are a must-follow. Brian T. Smith has done a great job covering the Astros, and has answered many questions for Astros fans over the last few months. Smith has done a great job replacing the likes of Zachary Levine and Alyson Footer, though those two were wonderful during their time with the Astros.
