Some of the better pitching prospects in the organization pitched yesterday. Cosart looked good in his start against Fresno, only allowing two runs in a loss. The combination of Doran and Tropeano has been pretty effective all year, with Doran picking up his sixth win and Tropeano picking up his fifth save. Velasquez continued where he left off last time out, and pitched a gem in his piggy-back outing. Here are the rest of the stat lines from last night’s games.

With the JetHawks taking the day off, the Astros affiliates combined for a 2-1 record yesterday. The RedHawks gave Ross Seaton his first win of the season, with home runs from Jake Elmore and Fernando Martinez. The Hooks saw another great performance from Jake Buchanan.
