Pence became a member of the Phillies exactly one year ago today, when the Astros dealt him away at the trade deadline. Pence immediately became a fan favorite in the city of brotherly love due to his all-out hustling style of play. Pence helped the Phillies claim their fifth straight N.L. East title in 2011 by hitting .324/.394/.560 in 54 games down the stretch and jump-starting a struggling offense.</p>
