Replacing the “Root Root Root” from last year, “It’s A Whole New Ballgame” can be seen in several places at Minute Maid Park. The Astros went with a whole new change to Minute Maid Park during the offseason. Of course the train and hill still exist (and we kind of need the hill to exist to so we can keep the website name), but a lot has changed since 2012. I had the chance to attend the Astros game this past week, and here are some of the new looks at MMP (pictures included).

For quite some time now, the new ownership group headed by Jim Crane has been toying with the idea of leveling the hill. At Thursday night’s “Black Ties and Baseball Caps Gala” Crane hinted that one of the park’s original features probably won’t be around when the Astros move to the A.L. West next season.
