3 more games for Harrell and if there is no marked improvement he will be DFA or released. With Springer in second place in organizational MiLB strikeouts he needs to stay where he is at till he gets his head in the game. No use at all bringing him up. I would rather bring Tucker up first. Let Springer get some mental fortitude. I think he needs to have a strong sound mind before he is called up. Looks by the way he is batting he is letting people talk mess with his head, reading and listening to MLB tv etc… Can’t be a mental whimp and survive in MLB

Yeah, I’m fine with that. He has to have a short lease here.

And with the Springer, the strikeouts are an issue. Yeah he does hit for power and get on base, but I think it could point to a bigger issue, of discipline and just getting comfortable at the plate. It shouldn’t be long though, but rushing him is not the answer to anything. He has to earn the promotion.
