Astros Pitchers and Catchers report to camp

The day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. Astros pitchers and catchers reported for Spring Training today in Kissimmee, Florida. Guys will be weighing in today and the first mandatory workout will be tomorrow. Finally, something concrete to talk about.

While most of us are still stuck here in Texas, Evan Drellich, Brian McTaggart and others are sending us updates from Florida. Here are a few of the early returns.

Ultimate Astros on Mark Appel

There’s really no point to necessarily push it right now, because if I re-injure myself – whenever you’re injured and in some way you’re sore, you’re going to be trying to compensate for it somewhere else in your body.

Ultimate Astros on Peter Moylan

I’m healthy now, 100 percent healthy. I was healthy last year, couple of nibbling things last year, (although I) wasn’t 100 percent the start of year but I managed to get to 100 percent mid-year. I just kept on getting stronger from there.
