The Astros started packing up the moving truck Monday in preparation for Spring Training 2014. Members of the management team also addressed the local media one last time before heading off to Florida.

An official announcement regarding the Astros Futures Game was made on Monday. The AA Corpus Christi Hooks will play host to the Texas League Champion San Antonio Missions at Minute Maid Park on June 10th. All tickets to the game will be priced at $10.

Another story coming from KHOU 11 Sports suggests that the Astros want to sign Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt to ceremonial 1-day contracts so the two Houston legends can retire as Astros. We had already heard rumors that Berkman would be honored at MMP at some point in 2014, but the Oswalt angle is something new. The last time we heard from Roy, he was still trying to land a big league job for the upcoming season.

And last but not least, David Barron informs us that former Astros bench coach Eduardo Perez will be returning to ESPN and ESPN Deportes to work as a studio analyst.
