Recapping The Minors: August 15th

About a two months ago, fans (including myself) were all rooting for a 30/30 season from George Springer. After last night’s HR, his 33rd, it’s now possible he can go for a 40/40 season. The RedHawks have another 18 games left which means Springer will need to hit another seven home runs and steal two more bases to be apart of an elite 40/40 club (only Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco, Alex Rodriguez, and Alfonso Soriano have had a 40/40 season). Here are the other notable stat lines from last night’s games.
