Roster Moves:

Jayne, from What the Heck, Bobby?, does a great job finding out all the roster moves in the minors. Here are the moves from Tuesday, that she gathered.

There were also two moves yesterday, that will shake up their respective teams. Both Rafael Valenzuela and Drew Muren were sent to Corpus Christi from Lancaster. Valenzuela, in four games at Lancaster, hit .286 in 14 at-bats with 1 home run. He could take time from Erik Castro at first base, or be the DH. Drew Muren hit .378 in 37 at-bats with 2 home runs and a 1.034 OPS. Muren will rotate in the outfield between Wates, Springer, Santana, and Burgess (who plays DH, but hasn’t played well this year).

Ryan McCurdy was sent down from Corpus Christi to Lancaster. McCurdy will help replace Tyler Heineman for at least the next week as Heineman is on the 7-day DL. No word on McCurdy’s role after Heineman returns, though it seems like he would be #3 catcher on either Lancaster or CC.
