Recapping the Minors: April 8th

Recapping the Minor Leagues is one way that will keep Astros fan enthralled throughout the season. With that said, we hope to be getting a recap out almost every day. Here is the recap of yesterday’s games.

Batters:

Rest of the team failed to record a hit.  Jimmy Paredes picked up 2 Errors.

Pitchers:

Rudy Owens (L) – 5 IP, 3 Hits, 1 Run, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K

Jose Cisnero – 3 IP, 2 Hits, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

 

CC – 4 – Tulsa – 3

Batters:

George Springer – 2/3, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 1 SB

Michael Burgess – 3/5, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 K

Including Springer, the team walked a total of 9 times. (Wates 2, Mier 1, Santana 2, Hernandez 2)

Including Burgess, the team struck out a total of 10 times. (Wates, Mier, Meyer, Hernandez, each with 1. Santana and Castro each with 2)

Wates and Hernandez each recorded a SB along with Springer. Mier picked up a CS.

Pitchers:

Lancaster - Postponed due to a dust storm (yes, you read that correctly). The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 8th.
