Jim Deshaies headed to Cubs?
Twitter is blowing up tonight with the news that Astros color commentator Jim Deshaies could soon be working for the Chicago Cubs. Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago broke the story that has Astros fans up in arms.
I could go on about how Deshaies is wildly clever and entertaining and the best part of Astros broadcasts, but I think it would be better to let you hear what the fans are saying …and they are saying plenty.

Astros fans love Jim Deshaies, and for good reason. I can’t imagine he would want to leave his hometown to work for the Cubbies. The Astros and CSN Houston need to wake up and smell the contempt.
Keep Jim Deshaies. Make CSN Houston available to all fans. Why would any other options even be considered?
