@astrosince1975 typical fastball/slider combo – obviously his control isn’t the best but he’s a strikeout machine and he’s tough against lefties. Throws hard and he’s big.

Probably never even gonna have the option to be a starter but he’s a power reliever of the 7th/8th inning type. Kind of surprised he was involved as I figured he’d be hitting Omaha this year and maybe a September call up or emergency DL fill in if it came to it.

@michael.allen.engel Quintero either came into camp with the condition or sustained the injury early on. He seems to have recovered rather quickly. He has been catching bullpen sessions for a week or so and took batting practice late last week. I think he will be fine. He is a good defensive catcher and has doubles power to the gaps. Best suited to be a backup or part-time player, his specialty is picking runners off base and he loves to throw behind them.

What can you tell me about Chapman?

So what’s the likelihood that he’ll actually be healthy and stay healthy if he played 2/3 of the time until Perez returned? When did he get hurt in the first place and how long was he out at the time?
