With rotation candidates that include Livan Hernandez, Zack Duke, Aneury Rodriguez, Lucas Harrell, Henry Sosa, and Jordan Lyles, I think its very unlikely that this move opened up a spot for Clemens or Keuchel.

Still, creative move. I agree it probably enhances his trade value if he is successful, because his value was as an innings eater, and those types don&#039;t typically carry much value to contenders at the deadline.

Homeruns were a big concern of Myers last year, and if that continues this year then I can see him struggling in the closers role.</description>
