I hate that all of the games are played at 12:30. I was going to be working in Phoenix/Mesa next week and was going to see if I could catch a game. Guess not.

I was really hoping Jay Austin would rebound in the Afl. The guy is quickly losing his prospect status. He struggled all season, but has nice tools. If he can't figure out how to hit for a better average soon then heidi going to become an afterthought in the system.

I was also hoping to see alot from Dallas Keuchel. He had a great gear, but because his fastball lacks velocity he is not viewed as much of a prospect. I was hoping he would turn some heads but.....

Hinze is doing okay. He is an older guy who carries no defensive value at first, so he will live and die with his bat. Strikeouts have been a concern with him, and we will have to see if his power this past season was legit or a byproduct of the Lancaster effect.
