With the season winding down and the Astros on the verge of their 100th loss, many players are probably starting to think about working on their golf game. I’m not sure what Chris Johnson was thinking about in the twelfth inning at Wrigley yesterday, but here is a virtual link to the play that ended the game and gave the Cubs a win.

With no television broadcast of yesterday’s game, I had to depend on internet replays to see what happened. Trent Rosecrans at CBS Sports thought the ball was foul (because it was!) and thinks MLB should expand the umpire’s ability to use instant replay on close calls in this article.

What the Heck, Bobby is keeping track off the Astros magic number to clinch the first overall pick in next year’s draft. This looks like a foregone conclusion. Let’s just hope the Astros get a great player who will actually sign with the team.
